Liu to compete at NCAA Championships

Iowa State swimmer Nan Liu will compete in the 2010 NCAA Championships in the 50 freestyle, the 100 butterfly and the 100 backstroke, it was announced on Wednesday. The event will be held from March 18 to 20 at Purdue.

Liu is the first ISU swimmer to compete at the NCAA Championships since Lauren Breunig in 2007.

ISU divers Abby Christensen and Tien Tran still have a chance to make the NCAA Championships. They will dive in the NCAA Zone Diving Championship on March 12 to 14.
